With the third installment of Telltale’s Tales of Monkey Island series, it feels like the developers are finally hitting their stride. While the first two episodes—Launch of the Screaming Narwhal and The Siege of Spinner Cay—were enjoyable in their own right, Lair of the Leviathan once again improves on the winning formula. It’s short, sweet, and packed with plenty of laughs and puzzles. In fact, it feels almost like the gaming equivalent of watching a great television show: right down to the “previously on” introduction and the cliff-hanger endings.

MotorStorm was one of the better games to be released at the beginning of the PS3’s lifecycle; the series became known for arcade-style racing with a better-than-average physics engine… not to mention some very attractive graphics. The game has now made the jump to Sony’s portable system, with a new snowy theme and a handful of new vehicle classes to set it apart from its big brothers on the consoles.
